Founded and created by former professional motocross & supercross athlete, Tyler Bowers, We set out to create a platform that helps develop performance athletes. Both physically & mentally.
After a successful 15-year professional career and 25 years as a fully committed performance athlete, he decided to step away from the demands of being a “full-time” athlete so he could focus on what mattered the most, his family.
It was after stepping away that Tyler felt the need to give back to the sport that has given him so many memorable experiences. His love for kids and the knowledge he has being in such a highly demanding space could be constructed to help kids and young adults perform at their highest potential in their respective sports, and equally important, their lives.
From day one, we had one goal in mind, and that was foundations and results. We’ve taken the years of trial and error TB has had as a professional, and structured them with his formal training as a CPT, USMCA Certified Coach, Strength and Conditioning, and Nutritionist.
Having worked with various “trainers” and “programs”, we’ve seen the good and the bad and set out to create a truly effective and results-driven training platform for performance athletes.
TRAINING PRINCIPLES
STRENGTH & CONDITIONING
Often overlooked in the motorsports world, we’ve made strength & conditioning a staple in our programs for many reasons, the most obvious being, being able to control and manage your motorcycle.
Injury prevention, bone density, biomechanics, and healthy muscle mass are important proponents of the body and its functions as an athlete.
RECOVERY & REHABILLITATION
Performance athletes are almost always under some form of load, whether that is muscular, cardiovascularly, or mental. So we have built-in recovery protocols into our programming to ensure our athletes are getting proper recovery and maintenance to reduce burnout and reduce risk of injury.
ENDURANCE & CARDIOVASCULAR
Our programs incorporate Cycling, Rowing, Swimming, and Running to develop peak cardiovascular performance, increase Vo2 Max, build endurance, and reduce total impact load during training.
INJURY MANAGEMENT
Unfortunately, injuries are just a part of our sports. Sadly in our sports, we are often dealt the decision to push through major injuries to succeed. So we focus on injury management in our programs so our athletes recover properly, faster, and most importantly, SAFER.
BIOMECHANICS
Mobility and biomechanics are equally as foundational in our programming, as are all of these other components. Focusing on proper mechanics and mobility aids in maintaining optimal health, blood flow, recovery, and injury prevention.
MENTAL
The mind is our greatest weapon. In motorsports and being an athlete as a whole, we are often our own adversaries. We take ourselves out of our races mentally before we even get to the gate sometimes.
So we’ve really put heavy emphasises on mental coaching, not just for life, but as a performance athlete. We want to develop that tool just as sharp as the rest of the body.
